UST Library gives away Grammarly premium accounts

ON THE feast day of St. Thomas Aquinas, the University’s patron saint, the UST Miguel de Benavides Library announced that it would give away Grammarly premium accounts to Thomasians.

To get the free premium accounts, administrators, faculty members and students must accomplish the form at this link using their UST-provided Google accounts and wait for the request to be processed.

Chief Librarian Ma. Cecilia Lobo told the Varsitarian that only 1,500 Grammarly premium accounts would be handed out to students.

Requests will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis, she said.

Grammarly is an artificial intelligence-powered application that suggests corrections to grammar mistakes, word misuse and sentence construction.

It has a free version and a premium, subscription-based version with more features.

Students’ premium subscription will expire at the end of the second term of the academic year. Christine Joyce Paras
