THE UNIVERSITY recorded a perfect passing rate in the April 2022 licensure examinations for electronics technicians (ECT), with all 31 Thomasian examinees making the cut.
Gabriel Gob of the University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman led the country’s new batch of electronics technicians with a score of 94 percent.
Mapua University-Manila was named the top-performing school for the ECT licensure exam, posting a 96.77-percent or 60 out of 62 examinees.
The national passing rate for electronics technicians rose to 85.19 percent, or 1,139 out of 1,337 examinees, from 75.77 percent, or 738 out of 974 examinees, in October 2021.
The University meanwhile notched a 55-percent passing rate in the electronics engineering (ECE) examinations with 22 of 40 Thomasian examinees passing the test.
Eugene Filomeno of the Southern Luzon State University – Lucban topped the licensure examinations for electronics engineers after scoring 92.10 percent.
UP Diliman was the top-performing school in the ECE licensure examinations, with an 85.71 percent passing rate or 36 out of 42 examinees.
The national passing rate for electronics engineers slightly dipped to 46.59 percent (897 out of 1,925 examinees) from 47.84 percent (710 out of 1,484 examinees) in October.
