45 Thomasians pass November 2021 pharmacist licensure exams

THE UNIVERSITY recorded a 64.29-percent passing rate in the November 2021 licensure examinations for pharmacists, with 45 Thomasians making the cut.

UST fielded 70 examinees. The passing rate was the lowest for the University since March 2018, when it notched a 61.54-percent passing rate or 16 out of 26 examinees. 

Earlier this year, UST ranked 10th among top-performing schools in the June 2021 pharmacist licensure examinations, where it produced 126 new licensed pharmacists, the most number of passers nationwide. 

Nicola Christine Aquino Rivera of the University of the Philippines – Diliman topped this year’s examinations with a score of 93.90 percent. 

The University of the Philippines – Manila was named the top-performing school after it recorded a 98.18-percent passing rate, or 54 out of 55 examinees.

The national passing rate in the November 2021 licensure examinations for pharmacists dipped to 50.91 percent or 1,207 passers out of 2,371 examinees, from June 2021’s 66.15 percent or 1,546 out of 2,337 examinees.
