THE PROFESSIONAL Regulation Commission (PRC) has postponed several licensure examinations set to take place in Metro Manila this month, as the capital region continues to deal with the highly infectious Delta Covid-19 variant and tight lockdowns.
Majority of the examinations were moved to September, while some were rescheduled to 2022.
Examinations in testing centers outside Metro Manila will proceed as scheduled, the PRC said.
Among the rescheduled examinations were those for nutritionists-dietitians, medical technologists, architects, and guidance counselors.
The licensure examinations for nutritionists-dietitians were moved from Aug. 9 to 10 to Oct. 17 to 18.
Medical technologists will take their licensure examinations on Jan. 15 to 16, 2022, instead of Aug. 21 to 22 this year.
The PRC has yet to announce when the licensure examinations for architects, initially scheduled for Aug. 27 and 29, would be conducted.
The licensure examinations for guidance counselors set for Aug. 18 to 19 have also been rescheduled for next year.
The PRC has no word yet on the postponement of licensure examinations set to be conducted in Metro Manila in the following months.
