UST is 10th best school in June 2021 pharmacy board exams

THE UNIVERSITY produced the most number of pharmacists in the June 2021 pharmacy licensure examinations, where it ranked 10th among top performing schools.

UST’s passing rate was 81.82 percent, or 126 of its 154 examinees making the cut. The number was a significant increase from April, when it only had 12 examinees and 10 passers.

Rosh Camille Belen led the new batch of Thomasian pharmacists with a score of 92.17 percent, the sixth-highest nationwide.

Deanne Marizthel Madrio of the Lyceum of the Philippines University in Batangas topped this year’s examination with a 93.55-percent score.

Adamson University, St. Scholastica’s College in Tacloban and University of the Philippines-Manila were the top-performing schools with perfect passing rates.

The national passing rate rose to 66.15 percent or 1,546 out of 2,337 examinees from 57.71 percent or 674 out of 1,168 examinees making the cut in April.

The exams were conducted on June 29 and 30.
