Sonya Gregorio and Frank Gregorio, both unarmed, were shot dead just outside their home by Police Sr. Master Sgt. Jonel Nuezca after an argument over noise.
According to Col. Renante Cabico, Tarlac Provincial Police Office director, Nuezca and his 13-year-old daughter went to the Gregorio residence to find out who was firing a boga, a noisemaker made of PVC pipe or bamboo that produces a cannon-like rumble when fired.
Both victims received two gunshots to the head.
The prayer is as follows:
“In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Dear Lord, we bless You that Your Word reminds us that we are only sinners saved by Grace. We pray Lord for the shooting victims who have experienced death of a loved one by the hands of another. God we acknowledge that the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal Life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen.
Only and Triune God, Have Mercy on their souls
Nuestra Senora del Santisimo Rosario, Pray for the souls of the departed.”
The parish ended its post with the hashtags #CatholicAesthetics and #PrayersForNanaySoniaAndFrank.
Philippine National Police Region 3 Police Chief Brig. Gen. Val de Leon said two counts of murder would be filed against Nuezca.
